Vacuum Solutions for Life Science
Typical vacuum applications in life science are i.e. freeze drying or medications, storage of vaccines and fungus cultures at low temperatures, extraction of basic materials from roots and plants, laboratory freeze drying for sample testing. Pfeiffer Vacuum supplies roots pump and – packages also certified per RL94/9 EU (ATEX), rotary vane pumps for keeping the freeze drying condenser at low temperatures up to -70 °C, measuring equipment and leak detectors for leak checking of the production system as well as mass spectrometers for process monitoring.
