Working with Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers (Software Quadera)

Target audience:Users, operating and maintenance personnel
Prior knowledge:Fundamental knowledge of vacuum technology, basic knowledge of Windows
Learning objective:The participants will be imparted with fundamental knowledge relating to the function, application and operation of Quadrupole mass spectrometers.
Course content:First day
• Principles of quadrupole mass spectrometry
• Potential applications and equipment selection
Second and third day
• Installation, start-up and operation
• Parameter settings / Practical exercises
• Calibration
The course content will be imparted predominantly by working on a PrismaPlus (QMS 220) in conjunction with a turbo pumping station or with a GSD 320 operating with the Quadera software.
It is recommended that participates bring with them a notebook with LAN connection for the practical exercises.
