Use of Facebook Social Plugins
Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The plugins can be identified by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile, or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the notation "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and the appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.
If you visit a web page on our site containing such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The contents of the plugin are transmitted from Facebook directly to your browser and incorporated into the website. We therefore have no effect on the amount of data gathered by Facebook using this plugin and thus inform you according to our level of knowledge:
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have visited the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example, by using the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is sent from your browser directly to Facebook, where it is stored. If you are not a member of Facebook, Facebook may nevertheless find out and store your IP address.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights and privacy protection setting options relating to this, please see Facebook's data privacy information.
If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and to link this to your account information stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
It is also possible to block Facebook Social Plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example, with the "Facebook Blocker ".
