Benefits of the DuoVane series
DuoVane vacuum pumps are the perfect choice for a wide range of applications, such as metallurgy or sterilization . They offer high pumping speeds and reliable vacuum generation, making them ideal for generating insulation vacuum, for vacuum drying processes, or as backing pumps for turbomolecular vacuum pumps. The majority of DuoVane vacuum pumps are also available with magnetic coupling, suitable for use in analytical equipment such as mass spectrometers or in flywheel mass storage tanks. In these versions, the motor is magnetically coupled to the vacuum pump. As a result, the rotor inside the vacuum pump is driven without the usual shaft seals. This design prevents leakage and contamination, ensuring reliable and clean vacuum generation. Without these shaft seals, a wear-prone part of the vacuum pump is eliminated, minimizing maintenance needs.
A reliable safety valve at the inlet provides enhanced protection in the event of application errors or system failures, ensuring process integrity. In these cases, the valve closes automatically. This prevents the backflow of gas out of the compression chamber back to the process as well as uncontrolled venting through the inlet.
Most DuoVane vacuum pumps are designed for easy installation and operation, with all service-relevant components, including the power plug and gas-ballast valve, located on one side. The universal motor ensures compatibility with various standard voltages worldwide. Their compact design enhances ease of use and installation flexibility.
