Maintenance level 1

Replacement of the tip seal
Sooner or later, depending on the operational conditions, individual parts may become worn. To maintain the performance characteristics of the pumps in the long term, the tip seals should be replaced at approximately 2½-yearly intervals. Pfeiffer Vacuum offers tip seal replacement at service level 1.

Maintenance level 2

Optional replacement of relevant wear parts
If required, the gas ballast valve, tip seals and O-rings can be replaced during service level 2. Due to the intelligent design of the pump, service level 2 is easy to perform and can be carried out by the operator of the pump.

Maintenance level 3

Replacement of all wear parts
Service level 3 ensures that your scroll pump is restored to the status of all technical specifications. At this maintenance level, the pump is completely disassembled and cleaned, and wear parts are inspected and replaced. After a final test, you will receive your scroll pump with a 12-month Pfeiffer Vacuum warranty on the service work that was performed.
