Two-stage Rotary Vane Pumps
Standard pumps with mineral oil filling cover a broad range of uses in practically all fields of vacuum technology.
Rotary vane pumps in the instrumentation series were developed for sophisticated applications in analytics and industry. Thanks to the pressure oil lubrication, they can also be operated with high gas throughputs. The typical sound pressure level of these pumps is only 49 dB(A).
In contrast to the standard pump, these products have a frictionless magnetic coupling. Oil leakage from a wear-prone conventional shaft seal is ruled out in these models
These corrosive versions of our rotary vane pumps are designed to be operated with mineral oil. These are used in sophisticated applications with corrosive gases. The costs of operating fluid remain relatively low due to the use of mineral oil.
These corrosive versions of our rotary vane pumps are prepared for operation with Pfeiffer Vacuum Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) operating fluids. Thanks to the inert operating fluid, these pumps can be used in highly corrosive processes. PFPE operating fluids must be ordered separately.
These corrosive versions of our rotary vane pumps are prepared for operation with Pfeiffer Vacuum Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) operating fluids. Due to the inert operating fluid, these pumps can be used in highly corrosive processes. By using the magnetic coupling, the integral leak rate of these pumps is less than 1 · 10-7 Pa m3/s. This maximizes the operating reliability in corrosive applications. PFPE operating fluids must be ordered separately.
Especially for processes that take place in explosive environments or for evacuating explosive gases and vapors. It is certified in accordance with ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and meets the high requirements for explosion protection. The ATEX certification is valid for the interior and exterior of the pump. The pump corresponds to equipment category 3G and temperature class T3. All gases up to explosive group IIC can be pumped.
With its DuoLine and Pascal two-stage rotary vane pumps, Pfeiffer Vacuum has offered two very successful ranges for many years now. Their long life and pumping speed, irrespective of the gas used, are the outstanding properties of these pumps. Two-stage rotary vane pumps can be used in the pressure range between 100 hPa and a pressure roughly a decade above the final pressure. Pumps belonging to the DuoLine series cover a pumping speed range of 1.3 to 300 m3/h. In the 5 - 21 m3/h range, Pfeiffer Vacuum also offers the Pascal series as products with superior vacuum performance. Pumps in the Pascal range are principally used as standalone pumps. Both series are available in a standard version with a shaft seal for use in straightforward applications. The Pascal series is additionally available as an instrumentation version for more sophisticated applications, such as frequent cyclical pump-down processes (load locks). There are various corrosive versions available for pumping aggressive media. DuoLine pumps with a magnetic coupling dispense with the need for shaft seal maintenance.
